Dowzer is the hero of THE DOWZER PROGRAM, North America's newest children's fire and burn prevention program. Young children (kindergarten) enjoy having the story read to them. The program is aimed at children aged six to twelve, but even adults are drawn in to the adventure and the action of the program. The most important aspect of the program is that this critically acclaimed and officially approved series of books is full of NEED-TO-KNOW information that keeps children alive.

Dowzer was designed to be easy. While the whole family can benefit from the lessons Dowzer teaches, a child can absorb the material and lessons on his or her own.

Your child’s adventure starts when you present him or her with the Dowzer Adventure package.

The package contains one full length book, eight ‘Case Files’ and the book recorded on CD.

You child begins by reading or listening to THE ADVENTURES OF DOWZER. This fast paced, emotionally charged and visually moving storybook introduces children to DOWZER and gives a unique lesson in fire prevention and survival. Children are taken on a heart-pounding adventure as Dowzer faces a raging fire, saves a little girl, and has an enlightening near-death experience. After the main storybook children complete The Dowzer Case File Adventures. Eight exciting and emotional scenarios follow children who have faced fires and burns through dangerous but ultimately positive experiences. Each case file is followed by a case report that summarizes the pertinent details of each scenario, and then Dowzer is called in. He helps the children in each scenario take action.

The characters contribute to the resolution of each scenario, learning how to deal with situations involving fire and burn hazards. Each case file includes a do-able mission that both reinforces the lesson and makes the child's home safer.
